[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The main supplier “forest” for the wood veneer offers us the opportunity to create unique and distinctive business cards made of wood veneer from the natural material wood.
Wood veneer is created by peeling, cutting or sawing tree trunks into wafer-thin layers. The respective type of production is selected depending on the area of application of the veneer.
The individual layers are manually lined up, subjected to quality control and then joined together to form larger veneer sheets using a joining machine. Each sheet of veneer is therefore unique and can also be used on the wooden veneer business card.
because of our PEFC certification we can also offer PEFC-certified business cards made of veneer upon request. Here we work locally with the only remaining producer of fine veneer, the Rohol company in Rosenau am Hengstpass, together.
Only the most beautiful tree trunks are processed into fine veneer, but wood is and remains a living material. Every grain of wood is as unique as a fingerprint.
Most of the wood veneers are currently used in the furniture industry. Here the veneers are often laminated or glued onto inexpensive chipboards in order to give the material a higher quality. In contrast to antique furniture nowadays, for example, the front panels of kitchens are usually no longer made of solid wood.
The veneer can be cut into shape using laser technology and can also be laser engraved. Wood engraving with the laser can be compared with the branding iron or with the old craft of pyrography. With laser technology, fonts up to a size of 4pt can be burned into the wood.
We are also able to print the veneer directly with our UV printer and can therefore also attach logos and texts in 4C to the veneer.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]
